
What Can You See After Joining Productive?
Once you’re invited to join Productive, you’ll receive a welcome email with a link to get started. Here’s what you can expect.
Setting Up Your Account
After clicking “Access your account” in your invitation email, you’ll be redirected to Productive to complete your basic profile setup. This includes entering your first name, last name, and choosing a password.
Your Dashboard
At first, your dashboard will be empty as you won’t yet be assigned to any projects. You won’t see any projects, tasks, documents, or project activity until you’ve been added to a project.
Once you’re assigned to a project, you’ll be able to see the relevant data, including tasks and shared documents.
Tasks Tab
The Tasks tab will display tasks assigned to you, along with any other tasks related to the projects you’ve been added to.
Initially, this section will be empty, but once you’re assigned to a project, all related tasks will become visible here.
Documents
Since you haven’t been added to any projects yet, no documents will be visible initially. Once you’re added to a project that contains documents, you’ll be able to access them.
Projects
The Projects section will also be empty at first. However, once you’re added to a project, it will appear here.
Budgets
If you are given Client Manager permissions, you’ll be able to view budgets and timesheets.
Settings
You can manage your own account settings, notifications, and security preferences.
